About Idaho Springs

Idaho Springs is a city in Clear Creek County, Colorado, situated in Clear Creek Canyon thirty miles west of Denver. Founded in 1859 during the Pike's Peak Gold Rush and home to the historic Argo Tunnel, the mountain community of approximately 1,986 is served by the Clear Creek School District RE-1 for education.
