Ilion is a village in Herkimer County, New York, situated along the south bank of the Mohawk River and the Erie Canal. Sited on lands settled in 1725 under the Burnetsfield Patent and dominated by a historic million-square-foot former Remington Arms factory, the community of approximately 7,593 is served by the Central Valley School District.
