Imboden, AR

Imboden is a small Lawrence County city in northeast Arkansas, first settled in the 1820s and incorporated in 1887. The town has a compact rural feel, with local schools, churches, and community events doing much of the everyday work of civic life. The Lawrence County Fair and Rodeo takes place on the Sloan-Hendrix campus, and the local auto show uses Imboden City Park. It is a modest place, but one with older roots and clear community institutions.
