Indian Harbour Beach, FL

Indian Harbour Beach is a small Brevard County city on Florida's barrier island between the Atlantic Ocean and the Banana River. Founded in 1955 by W. Lansing Gleason, it developed as a planned beachside community rather than an old coastal town. Parks, recreation facilities, natural shorelines, and the Anchorage Yacht Basin all fit its water-oriented setting. Public schools are part of Brevard Public Schools. Indian Harbour Beach feels residential and coastal, with beach access, boating, and Space Coast employment close together.
