Inman Mills sits right near downtown Inman, serving as one of the most recognizable landmarks in the area. Opened at the turn of the twentieth century, the sprawling brick mill was the economic heartbeat of the community for generations, employing local families and shaping the town's identity during the Upstate's textile boom. After nearly a hundred years of operation, the facility finally closed its doors in 2001, but the town worked to preserve the structure rather than tear it down.

These days, the property has found new life as the Lofts at Inman Mills, a popular apartment community right in town. The renovation preserved all the best historic character, including soaring ceilings, oversized arched windows, exposed brick, and heavy timber beams.
