Intercourse, PA

Located about ten miles east of Lancaster along Route 340, Intercourse is a small, picturesque village in the heart of Pennsylvania Dutch Country. Home to around 1,500 people, the community is surrounded by rolling farmland and centuries of history. It was originally established in 1754 as Cross Keys before adopting its memorable name in 1814, which most historians trace back to an old intersection of travel routes or an early term for fellowship and community.
