Tucked along a narrow neck of Lake Charlevoix in Northern Michigan, Ironton is a quiet waterfront hamlet situated right between Charlevoix, Boyne City, and East Jordan. The community's defining feature is the historic Ironton Ferry, a four-car cable ferry that shuttles drivers and cyclists across the South Arm from spring through fall.
