Isla Vista, CA

Isla Vista, often called I.V. by locals, is a compact, high-energy beachside neighborhood sitting right next to the UC Santa Barbara campus. Packed into roughly half a square mile, the town has an active rhythm driven by university students, faculty, young families, and longtime residents. Housing consists primarily of apartment complexes, rental houses, and cooperative living spaces. Boundaries are simple: El Colegio Road runs along the northern edge, campus borders the east, Camino Majorca sits on the west, and Del Playa Drive traces the ocean bluffs to the south.
