Tucked into central Suffolk County, Islandia is a small, quiet Long Island village with a population of around 3,500. Sitting right along the Long Island Expressway, it offers a straightforward commute east or west across the island. The community consists mostly of peaceful residential streets, with easy access to shopping centers, restaurants, and major job centers in neighboring towns like Hauppauge and Central Islip.
