Set along Route 20 in the hills of Wetzel County, Jacksonburg is a tiny community of around a hundred people. The area first grew as an oil and timber hub along the old Short Line Railroad around the turn of the twentieth century. Today, it is a quiet, secluded place framed by steep ridges and winding creeks.
