Jessup, PA

Jessup is a small borough in northeastern Pennsylvania's Mid Valley, sitting just a short drive northeast of Scranton. Home to around 4,500 residents, the town was shaped by the anthracite coal boom and the Italian families who settled here from Umbria. That cultural heritage remains very active today, most visibly during the annual Saint Ubaldo Day festival every Memorial Day weekend, when the entire community turns out for the vibrant Race of the Saints.
