Johnsburg, IL

Johnsburg is a village in McHenry County, Illinois, situated within the Fox River watershed. Established in the 1840s by German Catholic pioneers who constructed their first log church in 1842, the community of approximately 6,386 has maintained a strong local identity separate from its neighbors. Public education is served by Johnsburg School District 12.
