About Johnson Village

Johnson Village is a small community sitting right along the Arkansas River, just a few minutes south of Buena Vista. First settled by John Johnson in the mid-1950s, it grew around the junction where U.S. 24 meets Highway 285. Today, around 300 residents enjoy a quiet mountain setting with quick river access, stunning views of the Collegiate Peaks, and an easy drive into town for local shops and restaurants.
