Kearney, NE

Kearney is a central Nebraska city and the county seat of Buffalo County, best known as home to the University of Nebraska at Kearney. It sits along the old westward travel corridors that carried the Oregon, Mormon, California, and Pony Express routes, a history reflected in local museums and the Great Platte River Road Archway. Kearney also works as a regional hub for schools, health care, shopping, and travelers crossing the state on I-80.
