Kersey, PA

Kersey is a quiet community of about 800 people in Fox Township, right in the heart of Elk County. Set along the upper reaches of Little Toby Creek, the town has a relaxed, rural feel shaped by the surrounding hardwood forests. Route 948 runs directly through town, giving residents a straightforward drive to Route 255 to the east and Ridgway, the county seat, to the west.

Although Kersey began as a 19th-century mill and mining settlement, it is now primarily a peaceful residential area known for its open space and access to the outdoors.
