About Kewanna
Kewanna is a town in Union Township, Fulton County, Indiana, United States. The 2020 census counted 576 residents. A post office was established at Kewanna in 1847. The community was named for Kee-Wau-Nay, a Potawatomi chief. The town has a lending library, the Kewanna-Union Township Public Library. Kewanna High School used to serve the town but is no longer in operation. The short version is that Kewanna carries an earlier story into the places people know and use now.
