About Kimberly

Kimberly is a city in northern Jefferson County, Alabama. The community originally developed around a historic stagecoach station built in the 1830s, which remained in active service until the end of the Civil War in 1865. Today the growing residential suburb is home to three public schools, including North Jefferson Middle School and Mortimer Jordan High School, which serve as regional educational centers for Kimberly and several neighboring communities.
