About Kings Valley

Kings Valley is a Benton County CDP in the Luckiamute River valley along Oregon 223, the Kings Valley Highway. On the Luckiamute, Fort Hoskins was established in 1856 and is now a Benton County historic park with interpretive displays and self-guided trails. Kings Valley Charter School keeps a charter school in the community, and the Shrewsbury Renaissance Faire holds a September gathering in the valley with crafts, demonstrations, and living-history performances. Together, they place Kings Valley on a river corridor linked to a historic military site, a local school, and a recurring cultural gathering.
