About Kingsburg

Kingsburg is a Fresno County city in California's San Joaquin Valley, established as a railroad town after the Central Pacific completed its Valley Line in 1873. It began as a flag stop called Kings River, and later developed a strong Swedish-American identity that still shows in downtown architecture and local branding. The city's more playful claim is the world's largest box of raisins, built by Fresno State students. Kingsburg feels like a farm-valley town with a distinctive Scandinavian twist.
