Kingston Township is a township in Luzerne County, Pennsylvania, situated in the Back Mountain region northwest of Wilkes-Barre. Described as the gateway to the Back Mountain, the community of approximately 13,397 includes the residential villages of Trucksville and Shavertown and is home to Frances Slocum State Park. Public education is administered by the Dallas School District and the Lake-Lehman School District.
