Kingstown, NC

Kingstown is a quiet, close-knit community of around 650 residents in northern Cleveland County, just outside of Shelby. Originally known by neighborhood names like Weathers Grove and Golden Ridge, the town officially incorporated in 1989 and chose its name to honor Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Generations of families helped build the community around family-owned land and local churches, creating a strong sense of pride and connection that still defines the area.
