Knightdale, NC

Knightdale is a Wake County town just east of Raleigh, shaped by suburban growth and its location along the eastern side of the Triangle. The area's recorded colonial history includes John Lawson's early-1700s exploration for the Lords Proprietor of Carolina. Today Knightdale is much more defined by homes, commuting, parks, and community facilities. Station Park and other local parks give the town public gathering spaces, while its proximity to Raleigh makes it part of the fast-growing metropolitan edge rather than a remote small town.
