Knik-Fairview, AK

Knik-Fairview is a large census-designated place in the Matanuska-Susitna Borough, part of the Anchorage metro area. It sits west of the Knik Arm of Cook Inlet, south of Wasilla and northeast of Anchorage, in the broad Mat-Su commuter belt. The community has grown quickly, but it is still defined more by roads, subdivisions, open land, and borough-scale services than by a traditional town center. For many residents, Knik-Fairview offers more space while keeping Anchorage and Wasilla within reach.
