Kokomo, MS

Kokomo is a small, quiet community in western Marion County, sitting along US Highway 98 just west of Columbia. Built around the timber and turpentine boom of the early 1900s, the area is surrounded by pine woods and creeks winding toward the Pearl River. With roughly 150 residents, life here moves at an easy, relaxed pace with plenty of open space and classic Southern countryside.
