Koliganek is a remote census-designated place in the Dillingham Census Area of Alaska, situated along the banks of the Nushagak River. Tracing its history as the third native village to bear the name along this river since the late nineteenth century, the settlement has a population of under two hundred residents. The Southwest Region School District operates the local Koliganek School, providing essential K-12 education for the community's children.
