Kotzebue is a city and the borough seat of the Northwest Arctic Borough, Alaska, situated on the Baldwin Peninsula. Functioning as the region's primary economic and transportation hub, the community is home to the Maniilaq Association, a tribally-operated health organization, and the NANA Regional Corporation. Serving as a gateway to Kobuk Valley National Park, the city is also home to local public schools operated by the Northwest Arctic Borough School District.
