La Puebla, NM

Just east of Española, La Puebla is a quiet valley community with deep agricultural roots. You'll find a spread-out mix of older adobe houses, modest ranches, and open pastures along winding valley roads. Much of daily life here is still tied to traditional acequias, the historic community ditches managed by local neighbors to irrigate small farms, apple orchards, and backyard gardens.

For errands, shopping, and dining, residents make the quick drive into Española. Local students are part of the Española Public Schools district, with older students attending Española Valley High School. Between the local community center, open spaces, and wide desert views, La Puebla offers a peaceful, rural setting where you can enjoy a slower pace of life right outside of town.
