LaGrange, WY

LaGrange is a quiet town of around 400 people nestled in the open plains of southeastern Wyoming. Situated along U.S. Highway 85 between Horse Creek and Bear Creek, it offers plenty of rural peace and quiet while keeping Cheyenne about an hour’s drive to the southwest. The community has long served as a gathering place and supply point for the surrounding ranches and farms across southern Goshen County.

For families, younger children attend the local elementary school right in town, while junior high and high school students take a short bus ride up to Yoder. Much of the town's social calendar revolves around LaGrange Heritage Square, a renovated former high school that houses the local library, senior center, and community meeting spaces. LaGrange is also home to Frontier School of the Bible, bringing college students and staff into the area and adding a lively energy to the community.
