About Lake Arrowhead
Lake Arrowhead is an Adams County census-designated place inside the Town of Rome, arranged around a planned lake-and-golf community. The Lake Arrowhead Association began in the mid-1970s with The Pines course; it now includes The Pines and The Lakes, plus a 300-acre lake reached from Highway 13. Wisconsin Rapids and Adams-Friendship are each about 13 miles away, placing the community between two regional centers. Lake Arrowhead is in the Nekoosa School District, while the wider Town of Rome map includes the other Tri-Lakes—Camelot and Sherwood—and a larger trail and recreation network. Rome also ties the area to Dyracuse Recreational Park and trails for hiking, biking, snowmobiling, and winter skiing. The local rhythm follows the water and courses: lake centers, clubhouses, boating, fishing, and the roads linking the association to Highway 13. The community’s clearest landmarks are the 300-acre lake, the two course names, and the Highway 13 drive between two regional towns.
