Lake Cavanaugh is a small Skagit County CDP built around an 844-acre lake in the foothills east of the Mount Vernon–Anacortes area. Skagit County’s lake information lists Lake Cavanaugh as a deep-water lake, with a maximum depth of about 80 feet and a volume of roughly 36,000 acre-feet.
