About Landover
Landover is an unincorporated community and census-designated place in Prince George's County, just outside Washington, D.C. It is best known regionally as the longtime home of the Washington Commanders' stadium, which has brought major football games, concerts, and events to the area. The community's name comes from Llandovery, Wales, and older local sites such as Beall's Pleasure and Ridgley Methodist Episcopal Church are listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
