About Lantana

Lantana is a Palm Beach County town on Florida's southeast coast, south of West Palm Beach and near the Intracoastal Waterway. Its early settlement followed the Armed Occupation Act of 1842 after the Seminole Wars, giving the town deeper roots than its beach-town scale might suggest. Lantana has a local tradition of hosting an enormous decorated Christmas tree, and the nearby Lantana Road Library serves the surrounding area. It feels like an older coastal town inside a much larger Palm Beach urban corridor.
