About Lattingtown

Lattingtown is an affluent village on the North Shore of Long Island, situated within the Town of Oyster Bay in Nassau County, New York. Originally home to the Matinecock band of the Lenape, the land was sold in 1660 to early settlers Richard and Josiah Latting. The residential enclave of approximately 1,900 features rolling wooded hills, private beach access, and historic landmarks like the Underhill Burying Ground family cemetery.
