Laurel, MS

Laurel is a city and the second county seat of Jones County, Mississippi, situated along Tallahala Creek. The community of approximately 17,679 houses the county's second courthouse and is the home of the Lauren Rogers Museum of Art, which was established by the Eastman Rogers family and is noted as Mississippi's oldest art museum. Public education is administered by the Laurel School District.
