Leadore, ID

Set in the high Lemhi Valley between the Lemhi and Beaverhead mountains, Leadore is a quiet Idaho town with fewer than a hundred residents. Originally founded as a railroad stop in 1910, it sits along Highway 28 surrounded by working ranches and sweeping valley views. Daily life is simple and unhurried, shaped by open spaces and easy access to hunting, fishing, and hiking near the Continental Divide. It is a very small, remote community where neighbors know each other and the wilderness is right out the back door.
