Lebanon, NH

Lebanon is a small New Hampshire city on the Connecticut River, chartered in 1761 by colonial governor Benning Wentworth. It is one of the Upper Valley's main centers, closely tied to Hanover, Dartmouth College, and Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center. The medical center is one of the region's defining employers, giving Lebanon an importance beyond its population. The city has a downtown, river setting, and access to Vermont just across the water.
