LeChee, AZ

LeChee is a quiet, close-knit Navajo community located about five miles south of Page in northern Arizona. Home to around 1,200 residents, it offers wide-open desert living set against red-rock mesas and open grazing land. The community's name comes from the Navajo word for red, honoring the colorful local sandstone and native plants. Living here provides a calm, spread-out rural lifestyle within easy reach of famous outdoor destinations like Lake Powell and Antelope Canyon.

For day-to-day needs, residents make the short drive into Page for grocery stores, restaurants, healthcare, and jobs, while local kids attend the Page Unified School District. Inside the community, the LeChee Chapter House serves as the main hub, hosting town meetings, cultural programs, and family services. It offers a grounded, traditional neighborhood feel with direct access to nearby town conveniences and some of the country's most stunning canyon country.
