Sitting right along the Mississippi River just south of the St. Louis city line, Lemay is an easygoing South County community with deep roots and an affordable cost of living. Outdoor space is one of the area's biggest draws, anchored by Jefferson Barracks Park. Perched on the bluffs overlooking the river, this sprawling historic site offers miles of paved trails, museums, scenic picnic spots, and the Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery. Families also make regular use of The Pavilion at Lemay, a modern county recreation center complete with a gym and an outdoor aquatic park.
