Leona Valley, CA

Leona Valley is a quiet rural community in northern Los Angeles County, set between the Sierra Pelona Mountains and the edge of the desert west of Palmdale. With around 1,500 residents, it has a slow-paced, agricultural feel centered around horse ranches, custom homes on acreage, and rolling hills. The area is best known for its cherry orchards and small vineyards, drawing visitors every spring and summer for fresh fruit picking and wine tasting.

Every June, locals gather for the annual Cherry Festival and Parade, a tradition the community has celebrated for over forty years. Daily living is peaceful and spacious, though you will have to head out of the valley for most errands. Palmdale is about ten miles east along Elizabeth Lake Road, which is where residents go for groceries, medical care, and retail. Families send their kids to nearby Westside elementary schools and Antelope Valley high schools, giving newcomers a relaxed country lifestyle with everyday conveniences just a short drive away.
