Lewiston is a quiet, historic river town of about 2,000 residents tucked away in the mountains of Trinity County, Northern California. Born during the 1850s Gold Rush, the town still holds onto its vintage charm, complete with a historic one-lane bridge across the Trinity River and an 1860s schoolhouse that now houses the local library. Life here revolves around the outdoors, with world-class fly fishing right in town and both Lewiston Lake and Trinity Lake nearby for boating, kayaking, and camping along scenic shorelines.
