About Lincoln

Lincoln is a historic city in Washington County, Arkansas, situated on the edge of the Northwest Arkansas metropolitan area. Settled in the late 1820s and originally called Blackjack, the community lies twenty-five miles southwest of Fayetteville and eight miles east of the Oklahoma border. The town is home to the unique Arkansas Country Doctor Museum and has hosted the annual Lincoln Riding Club rodeo since 1953. Residents and visitors also gather for the annual Arkansas Apple Festival and enjoy outdoor activities at nearby Lincoln Lake.
