Tucked along the eastern bank of the Platte River southwest of Omaha, Linoma Beach is a quiet roadside community right off U.S. 6. The name itself comes from sitting roughly halfway between Lincoln and Omaha, giving residents a relaxed riverfront setting less than thirty miles from the city. With only a few dozen neighbors, it feels worlds away from the surrounding suburban growth.

The area is famous for the historic Linoma Lighthouse, a towering landmark that dates back to the old highway resort days. Today, the property primarily functions as a private, member-owned RV campground centered around a spring-fed lake.
