Lithopolis, OH

Lithopolis is a charming, small-town village located just southeast of Columbus in central Ohio. Home to roughly two thousand residents, it offers a peaceful, scenic feel while keeping you within easy commuting distance of the metro area. The town gets its distinctive name from the Greek word for "stone city," a nod to the area's historic sandstone quarries. That local freestone was used to build the Wagnalls Memorial Library, a gorgeous Tudor-style landmark right in town that hosts theater productions, book clubs, and family programs.
