Littlestown is a borough in Adams County, Pennsylvania, located near the Maryland border. Originally laid out in 1760 by Peter Klein as Petersburg and later translated from its German name of Kleine Stedtle, the community of approximately 4,850 is served by the Littlestown Area School District for public primary and secondary education.
