Log Lane Village, CO

Log Lane Village is a statutory town in Morgan County, two miles northwest of Fort Morgan, with the South Platte River along its northeastern edge and Colorado Highway 144 on the southwest. The town was established in 1956 and named for the log houses that stood in the village. The river, farm ground, highway, and nearby county seat give it a straightforward plains geography: water on one side, the road toward Fort Morgan on the other, and the larger agricultural corridor beyond.

Fort Morgan supplies many of the region's bigger errands, while Log Lane Village keeps its own municipal calendar of council business, local notices, utilities, and community concerns. Interstate 76 runs just south, giving the town a fast link toward Denver and the northeastern plains. The South Platte is more than a boundary here; it is the green edge of an otherwise open landscape and a place where the town's name, roads, and older homes meet. Log Lane Village is a river-edge neighbor to Fort Morgan, with a distinct address and a history that fits in its name.
