Lone Oak, TX

Located in southern Hunt County about ten miles southeast of Greenville, Lone Oak is a quiet community with deep roots and plenty of open space. The town took its name in the 1850s from a massive solitary oak on the prairie, eventually growing into a farm and railroad hub. Today, the pace is much calmer. It provides a relaxed rural setting where you can enjoy wide skies and acreage while staying conveniently connected to neighboring towns along U.S. Highway 69.
