Los Ojos, NM

Los Ojos is a Rio Arriba County CDP whose name refers to the springs that define its northern New Mexico setting. The community was known as Parkview for much of the twentieth century, then residents restored the original name in 1972. The nearby Los Ojos Fish Hatchery and Laguna del Campo preserve the area's water-based geography, while the Los Ojos (Parkview) Historic District follows the village's older commercial and architectural core near U.S. 84 and the Chama River valley. Los Ojos remains a compact settlement where springs, historic buildings, and the highway meet.
