Lynchburg, OH

Lynchburg is a Highland County village split in character by the East Fork of the Little Miami River and a covered bridge that reaches into Clinton County. The bridge dates to 1870 and is the local landmark people remember first, with its timber structure spanning the river between two counties. The village was platted in 1830 and still has the feel of a farm community, with Lynchburg-Clay schools and a main street near the bridge. It is a small Ohio place with one very memorable crossing.
