Lynnfield, MA

Located roughly 15 miles north of Boston, Lynnfield offers a peaceful suburban setting with lots of green space and quick access to Route 1 and Interstate 95. Commercial areas are kept separate from residential streets, sitting mostly along the highway corridors. Built along the edge of the marsh beside the town-owned King Rail Reserve Golf Course, this open-air lifestyle center combines popular retailers and restaurants with office space and apartments. The center green buzzes with activity throughout the year, hosting outdoor fitness classes, live music, and winter ice skating. Together with seasonal events on the historic Common, it gives the community a great mix of classic New England tradition and modern convenience.

Outdoor recreation will soon get another boost from the upcoming Lynnfield Rail Trail. The planned multi-use path will turn an old railroad line into a paved route for walking, jogging, and biking, linking local schools, municipal buildings, and shopping districts before crossing the meadow on an elevated boardwalk toward Wakefield.
