Lyons, PA

Tucked just three miles south of Kutztown, Lyons is a quiet, close-knit borough surrounded by classic Berks County farmland. Originally founded as Lyon Station back in 1860, the town grew up along the railroad tracks and still retains that peaceful, historic charm today. Community spirit runs high here, especially every September when visitors arrive for the annual Lyons Fiddle Festival. Held in the borough park, the event celebrates the area's Pennsylvania Dutch heritage with live folk music, handmade crafts, and regional comfort food. Throughout the rest of the year, everyday life centers around the local fire company and the town ballfield, giving neighbors a welcoming spot to catch a game, enjoy a picnic, or simply relax.
